Last night I heard a cry for help from my 3 week old SS. I went in and saw a wire coming out of her mouth. VERY SCARY. We jumped into action... saw that she had nibbled a piece of yarn with a wire on it. Took her to the light , put on glasses and started to pull gently. Got it most of the way out an DS clipped the yarn. We gave her water and a little olive oil to help scoot the rest of the yarn down. Today she is just fine. Tragedy diverted. I mentioned this because I am totally into prevention. The lesson learned, Make sure to watch grandsons closer, and when they leave ... check out brooder more carefully
