chick with no top skull

It’s still alive and has been out of the shell for 12 hours... have put neosporin on it and it’s in the incubator with high humidity. It definitely has energy and is trying to move. I’m sending hopefully a better picture. Maybe it’s not it’s brain? I feel like it would’ve been dead by now if it was...
 
Better picture. Any advice on what this is would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think if it's got energy then leave it it's not suffering in my opinion until they seem in bad pain so why not give it a try

Maybe your worries about the chicks bone not being there maybe someone could help you create a helmet like device
