Chick with possible cocci declining in health?

Thanks for the update!
What meds did the vet give you?
Names/doses
For the antibiotic I'm giving her 2.5ml of SMZ-TMP Elixar every 12 hours
The ointment is Vetropolycin and I'm putting a thin strip across her infected eye every 12 hours
And for the anti inflammatory/ pain med they gave me 3 1 ml pre filled syringes to give every 24 hours
Has anyone had any experience using any of these meds?
I'm not sure if just I'm just blindly being positive but I feel like she's already perking up. She's had 3 doses of antibiotics and I'm not noticing any lethargy or worrying symptoms. She's eating, drinking, using her little roosting pole and even looks happy to see me when I check on her.
Really hoping thing continue in this direction!!!! :celebrate

What did the vet say was "wrong" with her?
Did they test her poop for worms and Cocci too?

I think the antibiotics are starting to knock down the infection which will make her feel better!!! Good job!

The SMZ-TMP actually treats Cocci.

TREATS:
CHICKENS - Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum); Coccidiosis (Eimeria tenella, Eimeria necatrix); Acute Fowl Cholera (Pasteurella multocida); Pullorum Disease (Salmonella Pullorum)

Just got back from the vet. She has pretty severe coccidiosis. They put her on and antibiotic, an anti inflammatory and pain med, and ointment for her eye. The vet seemed pretty positive that she could make a recovery. We will be taking her back next week after 7 days of antibiotics to see how she's doing. We already did the first round of everything and I'm hoping the antibiotics help. Wish us luck. Will keep everyone posted on our recovery journey! :thumbsup

Here ya go @KikisGirls this is what OP stated that vet said:)
Sulfa drugs can be used to treat certain strains of Coccidiosis. Hope that helps!

I'm not sure if they tested her for worms too, when the vet came back she just said she had "a lot" of coccidiosis :(we gonna be taking her back next week to see how the antibiotics are doing for her. For now I'm just trying to keep her bedding super clean and water changed often. She's definetly perking and seems so much more alert when I check on her in the brooding room.

My only concern now is her being alone so much. I know you're not supposed to keep chickens alone but is there like a timeline for when I becomes bad for them? I have her quarantined rn and I'm trying to spend as much time as I can in the brooding room with her but I work 9-10 hours a day and I'm not home so I'm just worried about her social development :( or does any of the even matter?
