I have a chick that did a flop the other day and knocked her self out falling on her head.
today i was examining her to see if she was ok and discovered that her beak is really flexible.
its like a soft fingernail. she is a little pig and eats more than the rest of the other chicks and their beaks are nice and hard.
their starter feed says it has calcium. I can't give her oyster shells because she is so small and they are bigger than her beak.
i don't know what to do. is this normal?
im a bit worried that she will crack her beak etc
