My 2 week old polish chicken has been acting differently the past couple of days. Yesterday her chirp was quieter and she wasn’t running around as much and she was falling asleep a lot. Today she is making weird sounds and falling asleep all the time. She also kind of opens her beak a lot like she’s reaching for something. Her crop was also mushy feeling. I am keeping her separate from the other chicks and she seems to be doing a little better. What should i do?

Welcome to BYC!
What exactly are you feeding it and what temperature is the brooder?
Is it currently eating on its own?

Could you possibly take a short quick video of this chick and upload it to YouTube?

Yes she is eating and she eats purina one crumbles and the temperature is about 70-80 but it gets cooler at night I don’t know how to put videos but I put pictures

Can you get a clear picture of fresh poop.
Put some paper towels underneath her and just sit and wait/watch for her too poop.

Are these chicks your only chickens or do you have older chickens also?

I'd not remove her from the flock mates if I were you.
That can be stressful.
How big is the area the chicks are in?
Is the feed labelled for chicks?

I'd not pick her up or mess with her crop at all.

The food is labeled for chicks and the space is about 3x5 feet
The other chicks keep walking on top of her cuz she’s weak right now
Did you watch the video?
