Chick with underdeveloped wings?

I have 1 chick that appears to have underdeveloped / stunted wings. They sit high on her back instead of at her side. And they are half as long as her sister of the same age. She shows no signs of discomfort or pain. And it doesnt seem to affect her life in any way. I was just wondering if this is just natural selection or if maybe she is just slower to mature than her sister. They are either pure cochins or cochin / brahma mix.



This picture shows the 2 sisters together. You can see the one in the back is less developed than the one in front.

My mom got my sister 4 chickens this spring, one of which had stunted wings. It was rather cute and had the biggest personality..lol. They nicknamed him short wings. The last time I seen the chicks I couldn't even tell which one was him. Once they get a bit bigger they will probably grow out, but I can't say for sure. Hope this helps. : )
