Chicken Breed Focus - Brabanter

Very interesting information. Just got 50 Brabanter pullet chicks into my workplace, something like 30 Gold and 20 Cream I believe. They're hatchery stock. It'll be interesting to see how they grow and I'm sure I'll end up taking some home myself.
Hi, how did your Brabanters turn out? Any new info? thanks.

Love my "Rockstar"! Her feathering is gorgeous! Cream color with black hearts that are purple in the sun. She is about 5 years old now and is still so laid back and patient with humans, even tiny ones! Lol
She lives for human interaction and requires little upkeep. She is always on the bottom of the pecking order, but she dont care about that as long as she gets love. She still definitely earns her keep with plenty of good size white eggs, even in the winter! Going by my girl, i would recommend to people with children. I am trying so hard to add more to my flock, but cant find any :(

One of my very first birds was a cream Brabanter. I absolutely loved him. He was flighty, but protected our hens. We lost him to a coyote and it broke by heart. I’ve been on the hunt for a brabanter pullet for years now, but they are hard to come by!
