I love all chickens. Mutts are my favorite, since they have SO much variety and no standard. I love surprises and seeing how different genetics interact with each other. I don’t really have a specific breed that is my all-time favorite.

I can't decide between Orpington, Couchin and maybe Sussex. I can't vote because I will feel disloyal to the others . I'm getting Orpingtons this year and currently have the other two breeds in bantam variety. It took me forever to choose the breeds!

Might change my mind this year as we are adding a bunch of new breeds to our flock!

I am getting into NN. I have a Frizzle NN, and 3 regular NN. The 3 regular was I had a black NN hen, and she had 2 babies. The frizzle/NN I have not bred yet, but this spring I hope to.

As far as AC, I have had them, (I currently have a 1/2 with an austra white, looks austra white with black comb.) AC have small /med. tan eggs and they go broody. I gave mine away. The austra white mix lays a good sized egg, much biger than an AC and it is a light gray color.
