Chicken Breeding Projects, For 2020!

Yep. I think it was our buff Orpington that laid it, she did start laying again after being broody. I got another 2 weeks later, but didn't get a picture.

I love buff Orpingtons mine have been great mothers and layers and my rooster tried to fight off a hawk this summer!

That's one brave rooster. A great trait to breed forward. I recently culled my Buff Orpington since she's to old, & to add new blood to my Project. This is her.

Beautiful gal. I love how big and fluffy they get. Here’s some of my buffs I plan on breeding they’re truly one of my favorite breeds I couldn’t imagine my flock without a buff Orpington!
