I'm not sure. Why're you selling them?Hey everyone -
How much would you guys pay for a package deal of 3 purebred BB Red OEGB cockerels?
How much for a package deal of 3 silkie/cochin cross cockerels?
How much for a package deal of 4 OEGB pullets that are laying?
Aaaand how much for a purebred Jubilee English Orpington Trio (2 hens 1 Roo)??
I need to post an ad but don’t know how much to price them for.![]()
I really want to own those for meat. How do they grow?My mom wants to try raising Cornish X, but not sure if we should.
Them living that long is a bit fascinating.
The only Broiler type bird we have is Broiler Silkies, we have a hen that's going on 3yrs old this year, & a Cockerel going on 1yr old this year.
Our Broiler Silkies.View attachment 1995217View attachment 1995218 View attachment 1995219 Thinking about breeding them specifically for meat since they fill out nicely.
They grow like a regular Silkie, they're mid-sized standing between standard, & bantam size, but are meatier.I really want to own those for meat. How do they grow?
I am working on raising meat chickens. I am starting a flock of Barred Rocks, but have been interested in Rhode Island Whites. What are your Barred Hollands like and do you process any chickens for meat?I breed Barred Holland and Rhode Island whites![]()
Nice project, have any pictures of your birds to share? My ongoing project continues 2020- Improving Standards of the Silver Pencilled Plymouth Rock flock.
With that I'll be keeping many K's into 2021 for evaluation as it's critical I find a new, and as near perfection I can get, breeder cock or two from this season.
In 2019 was able to obtain Partridge Plymouth genetics. For 2020 I'll be looking for a breeding trio or quad. With one dam being bred I'll have to hatch every egg from her this year to get a good breeding trio, hoping to find a quad in the numbers.
Will have to pick up a second incubator to use as hatcher- there's going to be a plethora of chicks this season to come.
I heard back from Greenfire after a second email. They no longer carry them eitherGreenfire will get back to you. I've learned that they take breeds down if they can't commit to a shipping date, but they will work with you one on one.
I've found them great to work with.
Good luck
