One of my ayam cemani juvenile roosters can’t stand on his own. He just falls over. If I hold him up he can walk he has a large appetite and is drinking water he seems fine other than the fact that he cannot stand. Any suggestion on what it can be and is there a remedy for it?! I feed all our chickens with dumor poultry chick 24% starter and flock party Dried mealworms and some fuits and veggies. We weren’t home the majority of yesterday and I found him like this this morning. He really tries to get up and kicks his legs But is stuck laying on his side And he had white and light brown diarrhea twice

All looks fine, he walks without a limp with assistance but the moment I let go he falls over. I live in a small town and tried searching for Poly-Vi-Sol without iron and I can’t find it anywhere. I figured some vitamins what do him some good so I’m going to order some now. He just started breathing with his beak open and I got him unflavored Pedialyte

Do you have a feed store or Tractor Supply nearby? They should have poultry vitamins. You also could crush 1/2 a B complex tablet into some food. One of the possibilities could be Mareks disease, unfortunately. I would make sure that he can get to food and water, and try the vitamins. There could be a vitamin deficiency or an injury. Let us know if he gets worse, or show improvement.

I contacted our local tractor supply and unfortunately they don’t have any vitamins For poultry I also asked if they had vitamins for other animals like use for poetry and they said I would have to order it online. I ordered Nutra Drench, Vet RX and Durvet vitamins and electrolyte concentrate. That doesn’t arrive until Tuesday so in the meantime I am using vitamin B and selenium
