Chicken Flock RP (I have no idea if this will catch on)

Pics
FluffBomb softly clucked to her little fuzzies. Waves of love went through her as she hovered over them. FluffBomb’s oxytocin level was sky high as she looked at and felt her chicks which were still in chick fuzz despite having tiny wings now.

FluffBomb was very happy that her chicks would be soft-feathered and coop-friendly, not like those hard-feathered wild chickens she had heard about.

She knew her ultimate ancestor was a jungle fowl, but she cared as little for it as the Farmer cared for cave men.

FluffBomb acknowledged the compliment rather than growling. She was very very slowly coming out of her broody trance. However, she had to stay with her little fuzzies for another two weeks until more of their feathers came in.

FluffBomb was very grateful that the Farmer or one of her family came out regularly to feed and water the brood and sometimes change the shavings. The babies were now eating from a feeder and didn’t need their crumble scattered around.

“Do your chicks have names, Fluff?” Frosting asked.
Most don’t. The most adventurous and large brown baby cockerel is named Igor, but the rest don’t have names yet. My two black chicks are acting like shy pullets and I love them so!

My Buff chick is really special, too! She’s a slightly less shy pullet!

“I think I will name my chicks after plants,” Janie said. “Fern, Citronella, Sassafras, Chervil, and Acorn are some of my ideas. (In real life, these are my ideas for naming my bantam Cochin Jenny’s chicks if she hatches any. Janie is loosely based off of Jenny.)

Fluff says, “I have named a few more of the 12.”

Buff Pullet: Honycomb - see above
Black Pullet: Maria
Black Pullet: Mary
Brown Pullet: Melissa
Brown Pullet: Molly
Brown Pullet: Monique
Brown Cockerel (Largest): Igor
Other Five Cockerels: Unnamed because the Farmer is hungry for chicken soup!
