It's still developing. Hoping he turns out as nicely patterned as my Splash Laced rooster did.
I'm culling the splash due to a defect, not sure if it's truly a deformity, or from an injury.

Chickens are still being studied, and so are turkeys, but have you seen the new turkey calculator? It’s amazing!

It is.
Hopefully I can get another like him from different parents. He's Duckwing based as well.

The Cockerel in previous post replaces this boy for his lacing, & Long for his Lush tail.

Is he pure duckwing based or is he het. for wheaten? What is his genotype? Where did you get laced Malays from?

He's Duckwing, Wheaten split.

They're Old Bloodlines I found. I got two different sources, but he's from the original I got back in 2021.
