I was bring the newly filled 5 gallon waterer into the chicks pen. The chicks rushed toward me and I tripped. The waterer landed on one of the chicks. As a result there is a tear in its skin and the breast seems to be pushed to one side. How do I help this three week old cornish cross? I feel terrible.

I wouldn’t be super worried about the superficial wound on his back/hind end, that’ll heal ok if kept clean and dry and nobody else picking at it. (As long as no additional damage was done to underlying structures.)
My first thought on the swelling on the breast would be a damaged air sac. Is it firm? Or does it feel like a balloon? Or like there’s contents in it? Is the bird’s keel intact? (Can’t really tell from the picture). We definitely don’t keep meaties around for their brains. :(

no matter the damage, separating it from the others into a quiet comfortable place where you can monitor it would be a good start. Clean the wound and pat dry, you can apply a little antibiotic ointment like neosporin or spray like vetericyn if you’d like. Keep the flies off it and the other birds away so they don’t peck at him.

Thank you all for the advice. I have rinsed the injury on the rear end and applied Neosporin. The chick is isolated. It has now started pecking at the pushed over breast area. I have rinsed the new injury and applied Neosporin. Here are some additional pictures.
