Chicken killed a mouse!

I just this weekend caught video of one of our chickens catching a mouse from our live traps. My boys think it is very entertaining and they love to "impress" their friends with our killer chickens. Haha I didn't think this was normal~ My smaller hen was chasing and attacking a mole in my front yard this morning. She picked it up and threw it and the poor thing squeaked and took off. I've also seen her peck at a squirrel (it was upset she was scratching where nuts were buried) and she has tamed wild bunnies.. they just hang out grazing with her. Lol she is quite special.

I just had a squirrel in my run (sneaking a bite or two of feed) and my 3 youngster pullets had a field day with it! It was kinda like watching a NASCAR race......

It is amazing how fast they grabbed it!

I haven't seen any mice. Maybe they're taking care of them before I see them? I have caught them eating snakes and lizards. Usually there's a commotion because they're all chasing the one who caught the feast, lol!
