chicken math - I think I've got it!

I think that I now have a good grasp on exactly how chicken math works...

I went outside this morning to find my old buff hen in the pen dead she was probably seven to eight yrs old. At lunch time I was snooping on facebook and saw that a local feed store got a new shipment of chicks - silver laced wyanndottes. I stopped by after work just to "check them out"...and walked out the door with six.

I have been struck with chicken math!
