The following photo is one of my newly deceased 7 month-old Amber Sex-Link bantam chicken (aka Demonai). She was one of our favorites, and finding her corpse in my backyard was unsettling. If you can't tell from the photo, everything was gone except for her head and wings. We've also found her feathers scrambled everywhere around the property. We live in southeastern America and have two large Dobermans. I suspect a raccoon. Any help?

NOTE: The photo below contains a fair amount of gore and is not suitable for the faint of heart. Just a warning.

Sorry for your lose i know that is hard! Some cats do that too. They will leave the head on things and just eat the insides. Wild and domestic. ... not too sure on that one.

TexasSam- Yes, the head was intact. Thanks!
Hope Hughes- We live in a VERY rural part of town and little to no cats in our area. We have seen a strange cat around, though.
