Chicken Pooped out weird object

Glad she is doing better and my I suggest to take off the pinless peepers as she is separated from the flock?

I want to but when I try she struggles and I don’t want to hurt her

Removing pinless peepers is easy if you wrap the chicken in a large towel to confine the wings and feet. This calms the chicken. Reserve a flap of the towel to bring over the eyes to block the chicken from seeing the snap ring pliers coming at the beak. Slip the pliers head into the nose piece and open, lifting the peepers off.

I got them off! I’ve been feeding her small amounts of softened food, scrambled egg, and yogurt about 3 times a day for the past 2 days. How much longer should I keep her on this diet and when should I start reintroducing her layer feed and grit? I’ve been withholding food and water overnight and each morning her crop is emptying. I’ve tried looking this stuff up but each article is giving me a different answer.

Offer her regular food along with the special items and let her choose what to eat. Do make grit available. And a probiotic each day can also help.
