Yes it is true! I was "forced" into sharing an order and I am now getting a pair of goslings.

I have never had a goose so I guess I will learn as I go. I will of course keep them in the house for a few weeks in a brooder. I will certainly let them walk around the house with us once in a while (very thankful for hardwood floors) that's just how I roll. I really want them to imprint on us! I have had ducks before and it is amazing when they do imprint on you, they follow you everywhere.


Muggs: I can't wait to get my eggs from you. My mission for colorful egg basket will be underway.


Oh and Football! I love football! Really really lots. I will be watching the superbowl. I don't like either of the teams playing, but I will watch anyway. I am making a huge pot of chili. And we have yummy cinnamon rolls and French bread too! Yeah!

It was the sharkies thread. Much ado about nothing, but a good for a daily chuckle or two. Sometimes we would have colorful conversations, but I think this last time the envelope was pushed too far!

Not sure who is enabling whom in this situation, but it sure is fun having a local co-addict!! I got to tour her barnyard and WOW her birds are pretty and it is a nice setup! I gave her some chicks from my last order and she retaliated by giving me the 7 cutest black chicks that she hatched! They are Lavender Ameraucana/ Silkie mix!

I say retaliated, because they are SO cute and there is NO way that I will ever be able to part with ANY of them! Now I will HAVE to build a HUGe new chicken coop!

I am nearing delicious insanity at 40-some birds now! There are MORE coming Friday! Whee!
