I love Leghorns! I am hoping some hatch (got a dozen hatching eggs) and hoping the white chick in my assortment is a leghorn or maybe some of the chipmunks will be Brown Leghorns!

No, I just have plain old white leghorns. Everyone told me not to get them and that they'd fly around and be snarly. They are SO friendly and never fly. Plus they are relatively small and lay gigantic eggs. Other people say they hate their leghorns, so YMMV.

Today my chickens flew for the first time. Poppy flew on top of the fence and started strutting around like she was the stuff

I need a life outside of chickens! I spend most of my time on BYC or out watching my chickens.

I have 7 adults, 22 6-week-olds, 26 4-day-olds, and 56 eggs in the TVbator.

My new toy is a hovabator with turner that I am hoping to have New Years hatchlings in!

I really don't think about or talk about much OTHER than chickens

Ok, I am a true addict!
