Aspen, those are some great pictures of your group...

I'm slightly p.o. Some one has taken 2 of my Brahma chicks out of their coop. I started with 8, last week we down to 7 and today we're down to 6. They are in with some others that were given to me and there has been no ruckus and all my other chickens and chicks are fine. I think a very 2 legged thief is taking them. I had 2 that had been pecked on and they are still there so they are taking the full feathered ones. If I find who it is, they will be sorry....

SO what does that mean? I'll be going to the feed store that still has some and I JUST have to replace the 2 missing ones (and if a few more end up in my box is that REALLY so bad????)

Soooo you are still down on chicken numbers.

And I am down 10 roosters!!! SWEET! You helped me out sooooo much! It feels good to get rid of so many extra boys.

Oh and I only received 2 live ducklings in my order.

the other 3 didn't make it. Allen noticed that on the mailing label it showed they shipped a day earlier than we thought, which means they spent 3 cold days in the mail. Really sucks to know they got soooo cold. That is why I like to hatch because I know they are taken care of. I did get a refund for the losses, but that doesn't make up for cute little duckies getting so cold that they die from it.

My little Blue OEGB decided to perch on the back of one of the BIG hens!
