Chicken Shoes!

Slip on shoes are a must! Although I do use the wellies if I’m going to be doing particularly mucky work... but that rarely happens because I have a lovely layer of oak chips to prevent muckyness!

Still too cold for mud here! It got to 40 yesterday and melted the snow, but we were down to 32 by dusk. Once the weather breaks I'm sure it won't take long to mud em up!

My chickens got 5 toes, they might get some flip flops but that's it!

Well... turn that frown upside down and go put some shoes on your chickens!

These are the winter chicken shoes, the spring line is in storage still.

Alright I'll bite have three pairs actually 5 so first three .. the black boots walmart like 10 bucks but heck wider at the top hate wet britches great sole on them.. the white and black goodwill payed less than a dollar lots harder but also one I put the screws in bottom
@microchick keeps me upright photo three is my walking stick compliments of the son who made this in his boy scout days but 34 now.. the tennis shows are recent add but most often go the black boots easy on and off tennis shoe may get washed have to use a shoe horn to get them on

I can smell spring lurking in the air here, and I'm scared. A metre of melted snow equals a lot of mud.
