Of the six who live in areas where chickens are not allowed four live in the West, two in the South. Three live in the suburbs, two in small towns, one in urban sprawl. 2/3s keep chickens anyway. Three of the respondents keep between three and nine outlaw chicks.

I am not allowed to have my babies in the city limits - but I have built a coop at thr ranch where I board my horses. I have been there for several years so the landlord let me do this free of charge.

I took the survey. i live in a suburban small city, the city allows up to 10 chickens but the hoa is ambiguous. I said suburban and allowed with limitations.

I'm glad to see that at least half of us are able to keep chickens legally. Reading the Local Chicken Laws & Ordinances (and how to change them) section was a bit depressing. It sounds like there is a great anti-chicken movement going around.
