chicken want lay on Saturday

One of my laying hens want lay on a Saturday i get three eggs from all three every other day but only 2 on Saturday. Does she just take a break or what. There's no different routine same feeding and free range time.

Occasionally, a hen won't lay for one day just to have a break. If you want maximum egg production, add a lamp in the coup and keep it on for some of the night. Your hens will treat it like sunlight and lay more eggs. A hen needs around 14 hours of sunlight to lay an egg.
