chicken with crop issues - next steps

So I ended up doing crop surgery. She was declining fast and I felt I owed it to her to do anything I could. This is what came out. It’s possible she ate some of this today, but could at least some of this have been causing the issues? (sock for scale)
***ALSO, do i give her any water or food right now? i don’t want her to leak out her incision but she’s so skinny and i suspect nutrient deficiency @azygous @Wyorp Rock View attachment 3943800View attachment 3943802

It looks like it was compacted to me, but I've only opened up 1 chicken years ago who passed away from an impacted gizzard. Her gizzard was full of what looked like old long grass. I got her from a place where both chickens I bought were skin and bones. One I still have, but the other one only lasted a month.
I would feed a moistened starter chick mash afterwards.

Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worse and passed. I assume there was something causing issues elsewhere in her GI tract. We miss her so much.
