Yes I am pretty sure it is an injury though I think it might be infected, im sory.. i cant with that word. I read it wrong EVERY time... His eye.. is it just crusty, or is it actually mucusy discharge, like an infection? The photo may be deceiving, but to me it appears to be an injury rather than an infection.
X2.I just dealt with a rooster that had an eye injury.

If you look at my post history I list the things I did/ tried for my rooster in a thread.
honestly I should of given him the injections sooner! Terramycin eye ointment, liquamycn and vetrycin pink eye wash was what I used.

Whether it's an injury, an infection, or both, you can squeeze a small ribbon of triple antibiotic ointment in his eye twice a day, but be sure it's NOT the one with pain relief in it. That one cannot be used opthalmically. So, plain triple antibiotic ointment twice a day for a few dayI have a rooster with a pussy eye , it looks blind and it is closed!! What do I do!
