Chicken without a tongue?

Quick update. vanilla is doing good, however since she has no tongue, I have to use a cotton swab daily to clean her mouth as things dry in her mouth at the tip of her beak. i hope as she gets older she can manage it by herself as right now shes not. @Wyorp Rock @rosemarythyme

Aww, poor thing! But it sounds like she's getting by pretty well with your care and help. Thanks for the update!

Is she gaining weight and growing?
That's great! You may need to clean her beak for the rest of her life, but I'm glad she's still doing o.k. :)

What breed were you told she was? Any updated photos?

I don't know what breed she is. my first chicken i was told was an EE but she turned out to be as aracana. it was proven wrong when she got her cheek feathers.
this girl became the one below

she was born without a tongue and I think shes an aracana. shes got the same odd shaped head like the other one had as a chick. she eats her own tail feathers too. its really odd. lol

In this image i pointed out some odd feathers shes got. they stand out from her body. i can't get a pic of them because she wont extend her neck. but when she does. they stick strait up in the air on the joint of her wings. they are really odd. so she looks like a crazy cat lady chicken a bit lol
