Chickens and Ducks.... which feed?

I have a pekin duck and 7 chickens... i feed the chickens duck food (22% protein), because they're all in a pen together. Is this an issue? thanks

They make feed specifically for a mixed flock. Most layer feed for chickens are 16% protein.

I feed my birds Scratch and Peck starter, its 20% protein for ducks and chickens. I think feeding the chickens duck food is fine, though I'm a bit concerned about the protein. Are you planning on eating the Pekin? If not, 22% protein is a little high, usually only fed to meat birds. I might switch to an all flock, grower, or starter for ducks and chickens.
