She is happy today! She lay early this morning.

She has had a mark on her eye for days. I think it's dirt , what do you think?
I know it bothers her.
I'm going to rinse her eye.
Its pretty stuck in there.

I'm glad she is feeling better! I had a hen that started having trouble putting a hard shell on and would pass yolks and soft shelled eggs. But she occasionally would get very sick looking especially when these soft shelled eggs took too long to pass. If your girl is having trouble, you might consider giving her some human Caltrate, I believe it comes in liquid now.

Dirt can become imbedded in the eye, definitely try and rinse it out of there, may take several days of rinsing for it to loosen.

she layed a soft egg and is still standing with her back high up.
