Ripping winds up here today, how is it down there? I think it's going to blow through tomorrow.

Went to check on them and found Philomena died in the top.
This was my brother's chicken from the chickens I take care of.
Looked like she fell off the perch well sleeping. She was right by the perch.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry she is gone! She could have had a heart attack at night, chickens do this many times at night.

Thanks. Do they flip upsidedown when they get a heart attack? I thought they do.
My parents want to open her up.
The winds were so so bad last night she could of got scared. Gust up to 75mph.

It's possible she got scared of the winds, but unless they all jumped off, she probably wouldn't have either.

Just finished cleaning up the coop and cuddling my Chickies. They keep looking for her in the top. Sadly when I went out this morning around 8am when I found her they were up there sitting by her
Its sad I did not get out there sooner she had been died for at least 2-3 hours already.

Well it happens.

Its always sad for all involved when one of them passes.
