Chickens comb not growing?

My little chickpea is 3 months old going on 4 but I’m not sure chickpeas comb is growing at the rate it should chickpea still has one pea on top of her head just curious if the comb is growing to slow also if you have an opinion on if I have a hen or a rooster that would be much appreciated

I’d would go with rooster he has saddle feathers

Those are all round saddle feathers. None are sharp

Yeah but i had a SLW that looked like him when he was young but grew up to be a too be a rooster

Then you had a strange bird. Everything points to female currently, albeit one with a red comb for its age

No. He doesn’t. She has normal female feathers.

Chickpea is also a confusing little chicken the lady we got her from says dad is an ameraucana but mom is unknown I’m assuming it’s very likely mom was a golden laced Wyandotte

Okay, I’m not sure what other posters are team bling in about here, but I can tell you this: her comb is supposed to look like that. It will get bigger once she matures, but it will never be spiked like a single comb.
Second: she is a purebred Golden Laced Wyandotte.
Third: She is female. She has no male traits, and is most certainly female.

Golden laced wyandottes have rose combs, which develop differently from single combs.

The bird's comb is fine.
