chickens figure I need a belt....

I've lost a few pounds and my pants don't fit very good anymore. Last night I was crouched down feeding a few of the pullets and day dreaming. Some naughty little chicken happened to notice my low hanging pants as they walked behind me and gave my bum a good pinch! I yelped loudly which scared all the pullets half to death then turned around to see who did it and found a puzzled looking little cockerel... Little stinker! ... We got a good laugh out of it so I figured I should share.

Lol....little buggars have a way of sneaking up on us. Ouch...bet that pinch hurt a little.

There's more to the story I think. The mosquitoes are really bad this summe and the chickens are pretty fond of eating them. They chase the low flying ones and snap them up out of the air. Lately they have discovered that I am a "walking treat magnet" and pick any of them off as soon as they land on me. Most of the time they gently scoop them away but occasionally they miss and I get pinched instead....
