Can anybody advise me on this. I noted my chickens foot bleeding, I think it has only just happened, while I'd gone to renew the food in the coop. I don't know if my other hen did it accidentally while pecking at the food which had escaped onto the floor a little, but now she seems to have gotten the taste for blood and won't leave the other chicken alone! She keeps going to peck at her foot! I'm new to chicken rearing, I wonder whether I could try soaking the area and after drying it, spray an iodine spray on to help dry it out and provide antibacterial properties, and make it less flavoursome to the other hen?
