Chickens pooped under our raspberry bushes...can we still eat the berries?

Went out to sweep the patio yesterday. Off in the corner we have raspberry bushes. Yikes! There were 6 of our chickens underneath looking for bugs to eat and I'm sure they have been pooping there too. Raspberries will be ready for picking within the next week or so. Can we eat the raspberries or should we leave them alone. I'm afraid of e-coli, etc. What do you think?

Why not? Wild birds poop under and on raspberries and all other berries. Their poop isn't any more benign than chickens'.
We wash all fruits and vegetables for that very reason.

I see no reason to not eat them! Wash them like you'd wash any other fruit.
