Chickens won't go in the coop

so not sure it was a dog? how old was he ? is your run covered ?

the hens are naturally scared a predator will be back
was he attacked in the coop

then I am fairly certain they are freaked by the loss of the cockerel you may end up
going out to physically place them in the coop but give a bit of time maybe a few days.
Do you feed them in the coop is there water for them in the coop here I go again with questions

Yes, there is food and water in the coop. No worries about the questions, I just want my chickens happy again!

I really do understand that see when I took my cockerel to auction my girls
were ready to be alone again but layed larger amounts of egg since as in saying thank you but they saw me take him.. you may have two separate events one in the coop one out of it with the cockerel may I ask are you able to post a picture of your coop in and out ?

I have caught all but 3 tonight so we will see what happens tomorrow. The rest are locked in the coop for now.

not a bad idea good for you birds can worry us sick
but are allot of fun I have roughly 28 to 30 birds in 3 coops
beware of chicken math
