Chicks coming! Who else is anxiously waiting?

The pip as gotten much bigger through out the day, and I can now see a very large shell "flap" hanging and ready to chip off. I've been watching the egg from time to time, and I was in the right place at the right time to see the egg flap move! She's taking a rest now, but I hope she gets out before tonight, or else I won't be able to sleep!

5 angles hatched yesterday morning! One isn't doing so good sadly, not sure if he can even see or not, but he acts weak and confused. Hopefully he makes it and starts getting his energy back. I'll post pics this evening.

Wonderful news! I hope the little guy just needs to rest up.

His energy is much better this morning, he stands better and seems to be doing better following mom. He does peep a lot when she gets up snd moves very slowly towards her unlike the other chicks. Still not sure if he can see, but at least his energy is better. So far so good I guess.

Argh! Found my problem. The chicks and mom have lice! Started treating them today with Permethrin dust, hopefully the bugs dissipate soon.
