Hopefully will candle my eggs tomorrow night again for a new ocunt then I will update.. I am having a problem...as you guys know I have swapped incubators and now I cannot get the humidity to come up at all in the sportsman. I need any useful tips to the trade as I have no idea what I am doing when it come to this type of incubator. I did put in the spounge but the info recommended to run as it was until lockdown. it is staying around 19% PLEASE help!!! I dont want to loose my eggs..

More surface area that is wet, like sponges, shallow pans of water, paper towels soaking wet or you can spray water from a mister.

So I candled last night (day 12) I coulnd't see much of anything. EE and Black Maran eggs. I did see that one the dark area in the center was floating around and moved when I moved the egg. That's bad right?

I also was able to see a few nice air pockets at the top. That means at one point maybe still now they are alive right?

I had two 'clear' one came with a blood spot so I figured it wouldn't develop.

So candled last night. Down to 12 eggs from 29

Tis the season for our packages to get tossed around.

Lock down is Mon. the 19th for me.

And I'm thinking...air sacs at the top? The top of the egg is not good..at the bottom of the egg is good, not the pointy end, the rounded end.
And yep, usually those EE and Maran eggs are hard to see through when you have something growing in there. Give them a chance!

The air sac was at the rounded end but I put my eggs in the turner rounded end up. so I'm calling that the top. Is that good or bad to have air sac in the rounded end facing up?​
