Chicks keep laying on their side all stretched out. Are they ok?

Or the ones that sleep with their face in the shavings. There is no way they can breathe like that. I have not had the pleasure of the feet in the air pose. These are some funny little critters.

Awwwww Baby chick ownership isn't it grand mine did all these and a few others now I am old pro at it so I know most of their tricks

now but the one I always liked the best was the stand up sleep then the head would get heavy and do a nose dive into the shavings and the body would follow Scared me to death the first time I just knew I had a dead chick until I grab her and she was like hey you woke me up

LOL..Good post. Mine scared me the first time out the box into the grass.. They'd fall on side and open one wing, then lay there, play dead. One got me this morning with the laying flat, with neck stretched out, while all the other ones are running around and peepin their heads off.

I agree watching them just fall over face first is quite funny. Or when one chick falls on another. I love those funny moments. I can never get to my camera in time though.

Oh my gosh i JUST got chicks today n they’ve all done these random poses n stuff. I’m a medic but Lird have mercy it freaked me out!!! One was all stretched out and I was like oh no it’s dead. Nope. Just whack posing to snooze. scare me half to death.
