Sad news. Ratchet, our little serama, is blind. We put her in a dog crate and showed her the food and water, and she is eating and drinking on her own. I do not know if she is enjoying life, though. We may have to cull her. Quality of life is the most important factor on that decision.

Ratchet is dead. She will be sorely missed. The great time of molting has come to the citizens of Chickswich! I will update shortly with pics of the latest chicken fashion, featuring pins and needles and bare skin (in near freezing temperatures)

Oh my gosh. It has been forever since I have been on. So much has happened to my flock, and I assume no one on here remembers me.
