Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Oh, yes. Definitely need some paper towels to clean that drool up off the floor. :lau Now look what happened, I slipped on your drool and fell. Good thing I'm laughing. I don't want Dimitri at full consciousness yet. I can have him wake briefly, but that's it. How's that?))
( Ah it's fine. Unless you just want to :p )

Andorra nodded and said, " Yeah. That will give him more time to get past his fever. Plus if his attacker is still at large, I don't want to give him more targets."
Donella nodded again then glanced to the door "I'll be sure to lock the door this evening." She said and hoped her room mate didn't get hurt too.

( You like the dynamics of them both just needing a friend but constantly hurting each other....:hmm Girl I think you need to rearrange your idea of interesting dynamics. :lau )

Eliana looked up at him confused for a moment, a friend? He thought of her as a friend? She instantly felt bad for having said what she had, but knew there was no taking it back. Her frown deepened as he continued, going on to say he was the one responsible for creating her, not Ryker. She jumped a bit startled when he swept the tables contents onto the floor. She listened to his sobs as he stood there and she recognized the irony of it all. She stood and began to pick up his mess, she had gathered enough information about him to know he probably would hate the mess later on considering how clean he kept his lab. Her anger had defused before she had sat down, she had told him her truth, all that was left for her to feel was empty. Even if he was the one responsible for what she had become he had, briefly done right by her. So she gathered the strewn objects to put back into the first aid kit in an attempt to do right by him, at least once since she had botched her only chance at friendship so royally.

She sighed and looked up at him, "You know the one thing about being broken, its easy to spot other broken things. That's what you and I are, broken things, broken in different ways but broken all the same. It is fitting that two broken things would try to become friends, but even were to broken for that it seems." She gathered up the most of the first aid kit and stood handing it to him. " Your not the villain, even if you are the one who did this to me. Villains care little for those they crush under their boot heels, and you, you care." She said as she turned to leave. She could see herself back to her cell, she had meant it when she said she wouldn't run. She doubted he wanted her around anymore or to talk, all that was left for her was to go sit in her cell, at the books he had brought her and realize she was truly alone now. The one person who had cared enough to try and reach out to her she had just burned the bridge.

(And now I want to give her a hug. )
(Two words: Dysfunctional Family. :plbb You think I need to readjust my thoughts on interesting dynamics, but yet you put it into words exactly how I saw them. They're both broken in vastly different ways. It's the journey of how they heal eachother. )
Alastor looked to her quietly as she spoke her truthful words. It was only then, that he realized just how broken he really was. She forgave him and it hurt him to watch her turn to leave. "Stay...not because I'm giving you something.....but because you want to." He heard himself say with a shaky voice while he stood there holding the kit she'd so diligently picked up.

Almost at that moment, Andorra remembered Donella's roommate. "Oh! Do you think your roommate wil, be fine? She asked worriedly.
Donella shrugged and looked to the other bed "I don't know" She said honestly. She didn't know the other girl well at all.

Leah’s back immediately tensed, and she grew nervous. But after a few seconds, she grew calmer and relaxed her body. She giggled softly at his comment and also like herself. She laughed “I look like a vampire, don’t I?” She flashed her sharp canines for effect, leaning in as if she was about to bite his neck, opening her mouth slightly and craning towards it with a smile.

William chuckled, "you've got the paleness down alright, and even the sharp teeth. But your too sweet to be a vampire." He said with a smile as he laid down next to her. He didn't think she was going to actually bite him, but even if she did she wouldn't seriously hurt him. "What does that make us then, a dragon and a vampire?" He asked with a laugh.

Zaine kept his eyes glued to a page in the sketchbook as he listened to her reply. He couldn't accuse her of negativity, that was for sure. "That's good," he said, smiling slightly. "Good that even after what you've gone through, you can still see the bright side of things. Do you mind me asking where you were before the labs?" He wasn't asking so much for her childhood life, but what her circumstances were beforehand. Many of the kids Ryker had had been orphans or in a foster system or other.

Lyra frowned slightly, "I was a foster reject. Never good enough to be adopted, constantly cycled around and over looked. Like I said this is a step up for me. Where did you come from ?" She asked looking up at him curiously, seemed only fair to ask him the same question she answered. But she would understand if he didn't want to answer, she knew some of the people here had families before.

Zaine hadn't meant to bring up sad memories such as that, and he really wasn't expecting such an honest answer, but she seemed fine. He moved to lean against the wall, the sketch pad still in his hands. It was easier having a conversation such as this when there was something else to look at. "A large family, um, up north. I was the seventh out of eight, so there was never a boring moment, that's for sure." He turned the page slowly, delaying to give himself time to think up a better answer. He had a relatively happy home life, with a best friend and land to roam free? But she was in and out of foster homes that didn't want her, and the lab was a safe haven for her. Nothing appropriate came to mind. "Nice shading," he said, after what felt like an eternity of silence, pointing somewhat vaguely to the current sketch.
