Not a prob TK - ask any question...if I don't have the answer - I will find out. I think this breed will take off next spring - but the key here to having good quality birds are going to be the breeders who care and take time to work with the birds and not those who are in it for a quick dollar and continue to breed back. I believe you will see the separation fairly soon in the process.

well some say choc x choc lightens it, not seen it myself - not to say it wont happen.

chocs are broody old lumps, so getting lots of chicks is the main thing. watch out for the wing on that girl, and maybe think about a splash to get mauve, etc if you have black problems.

here a couple of mine from choc x black to show the colour difference even when taken to a black, and a mauve. Have fun

I recognize one of those birds. By far the prettiest birds I've ever seen. If they were mine I would never let them out of my site. I guess I would never get anything done. Keep up the good work.
