Chocolate calls

I want a pair of call ducks!!! bad! and so when i saw and ad about them, i jumped all over that. The hen is a choclate color, i remeber reading on here something about why people don't like to breed them or they arent popular?? Can someone tell me why?

It's basically due to the fact that after a couple of years, the color tends to fade from chocolate to a coffee/tan color.
They are beautiful and I intend to hatch some in the spring!

Yeah, the fact that the color fades is the only reason that they are not very popular. I still love them though and actually like the lighter/mottled color.
