Christmas discussion!

Only 6 days left until Christmas!!
Has anyone ever made Muddy Buddies before? They’re really good.

Here’s the recipe:

9 cups of Chex mix

1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips (I use semisweet, but any kind is fine)

1 cup of peanut butter

Powdered sugar

Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter on the stove until melted and mixed together. Pour onto the Chex mix and make sure that the Chex mix is throughly coated with the mixture. Then just add powdered sugar until it has covered the Chex mix.
We call it Puppy Chow. It looks like what Purina Puppy Chow used too look like. Not sure if it does anymore or if it's still available.
Used too make it every year. Haven't for quite a few years now.

I love Christmas. I too am an atheist. I celebrate the spirit of Christmas/Santa Claus, which is family, friends, love, kindness, and gift giving. I believe in the spirit of Santa Claus. Everyone is kinder, more generous, more forgiving and much happier. It's my favorite time of year. It all starts on the weekend after Thanksgiving with a family shopping weekend trip. Then a weekend downtown shopping with my friend, and then all the decorating, baking, gift buying and favorite part, gift giving!
Because of work schedules, my son, hubby and I celebrated today. Then we will go too Michigan where my family lives for Christmas Eve party and Christmas Day with immediate family. Lots of food, laughs, love, smiles and happy times!

Happy Birthday AND Merry Christmas!

My mom's birthday was 12/25. She dealt with it as an adult. Might have been horrible as a kid but she had that distracting Great Depression thing going on too so I don't know...

Just be sure to always do something extra special for your mom if she is still around! My birthday is 12/25 and my grandmother's is 12/26 so we get to share in celebration.

Too busy peeling vegetables for a Christmas Eve turkey meal.Thought I’d share these 2 pictures of the Wreath and sleigh my brother in-law made for my wife few years ago. Prayers to anyone who needs them.
Merry Christmas!
