Christmas present from my chicken

I got new SS girl beginning of this week. Well not really "new" one.
When I got new chicks this spring, my husband's friend bought 4 from me.
But he lost 3 of them so gave me back last one.
He've never played with chickens and the chicken didn't have name. So I named and played with her for few days to give little more attention and love.
Turned out she is very sweet girl!!! She is lap chicken and won't leave me alone.
And today, I got surprise from her. SHE LAID EGG ON MY LAP!!!
That's biggest Christmas present ever!!!

My first chickens started laying on New Years' Day, so it was pretty special too.

I named her "Lovie". She is very lovely chickie!!
