I'm glad to hear that! I thought my chickens were the only ones who wouldn't let their little feet touch snow, lol!
I need to get some more straw to put out.

Awesome egg Stacey. How do you get the pictures on here? I have some great pictures I could post, but don't know how.
Got (7) eggs today. That means seven of my fifteen are laying. But, I am having trouble with some laying in the corners of the coop. I think it is the bigger ones, and they don't want to get inside the nesting boxes. They are regulation size boxes I ordered online, so I know they are the right size.
We are bracing for a few nights of artic air coming thru. Supposed to be 9 degrees tomorrow night. We have a really safe heater we took down to the coop today. We will keep it turned low. Just enough to fight off those low low temps.
Pics are on my Verizon smart phone, but I have some are on my computer. How do you get a BYC app on your phone? Sorry, I am not very tech savvy, lol
It is so much fun having a "chicken friend" in Alaska. My cousin is a pharmacist and is called to work in Alaska sometimes. I want to say in Juneau (sp?), but I am not sure.
I have a weather correction. It will be 8 degrees Monday night, and 12 degrees Tues. night. Bummer!!
