Christmas Setting - First Hatch

Okay, I was scared to do it. I saw 2 eggs that looked bad - like floating material. But I saw one little beak poking at the air sac! Yayayayayay!!!!!!!! I didn't look at all of them because I wanted to minimize the heat/humidity variation.

Any action yet? All three of mine are out and are living with the lone quail chick for now.

This morning at 6:20 I had my first pip! But I have been gone all day (argh) but I called home and there were none out according to my 78 year old mother at about noon. I will post as soon as I get home!!!!!

Looking forward to the update! My little leghorn cross just hatched out at 5 in the morning. Fat little thing. They always are out of the leghorn eggs, lol.
