I do know that there is a small investigation by one of the networks on the EPA for suppresing a study that shows the planet has cooled off for the last 12 years and is supposed to cool off a little further.

Also, even if we stopped emitting all carbon, it would do no good. The warming is quite natural. In fact, during the early 19th century when Co2 was minimal, there was a warming, then in the '70s when concentrations were much higher, there was a slight cooling. Then there was another recent warming. For good books on the subject, read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and The REALLY Inconvenient Truths. They totally make a joke out of manmade global warming.

The polar bear population in Canada may be stable, but the debate is about the polar bear population in Antarctica which is decreasing!!

I was going to say the same thing, but hesitated because the only large animal they have down there is the seals, orca's and whales right? I know penguins but no Polar Bears. My x wife was a polar bear freak (thanks to coca cola) so unfortunately we had to know and obtain everything polar bear(ish)
