One of my new chickens (well, pullets)! She just came in the mail today! I’m going to pick up her friends this weekend.

Something hurt my poor Muffet today while I wasn't home :hit I have no idea what it was because I can't think what would get a hold of a wry necked chicken and not kill it.
Because I wasn't home all the dogs were in their runs. We've never had a fox during the day... and again whatever it was didn't kill her :hmm
Everyone else is fine except a few lost feathers.

Im sorry about Muffet.
Maybe a smaller predator came but got scared off?

We have such limited predators here. Foxes, stray/wandering dogs and cats. That it.
Maybe the cockerels did scare it off.

She is so perky, considering it's a decent sized wound.
She was chasing me around while I fed everyone yesterday cause she didn't understand she has to be seperated so she does get picked at. She was so confused as to why I wouldn't let her in any of the pens.
