The hawks here are terrible. I don’t see them very often but they hide in the worst places and get a lot closer to my unsuspecting chickens then I’d like. Thankfully I’ve always caught them in time but probably one of these days my luck is going to run out :(
That sucks! Glad they haven’t gotten one though.
 
Some white tailed deer browsing through the front yard the other day around dusk, 2 does and 2 fawns. They enjoy the acorns falling off the live oaks right now. (Sorry it's not a better shot, took the picture through a window)

We have a doe and fawn that come around in the spring every year. They like the muberries.
 
I haven't kept up with everyone's posts, sorry!
We don't get owls around here very much, otherwise I just don't notice. I've also never had issue with birds of prey with my chickens. I've even ranged my silkies before and never had a loss.
As much as I've lost quite a few chickens to foxes I actually have to deal with very few predators, thankfully.

In other chicken news it seems I'll be getting more silkies, included Showgirls which I have been trying to get for ages!
Just actually have to build a place for them to live 😅
