She sounds like our cat! She walked in our yard one July day as a ~6 week kitten…my sister is the only one who can handle her (safely ;)).
I hear that! Hubby can pick her up very briefly (think 15 seconds is the record) for a cuddle IF she's feeling agreeable at the moment. I have to settle for couple of quick head scritches or brush my hand down her back and then move away - quickly! 🤣

These descriptions sound like Belinda 😂
She's a terror and I often call her a feral. Her moods switch incredibly fast, one second we're enjoying a cuddle, next she's trying to eat me. I've had her since she was 4 days old so I'm her person and she's actually best behaved with me 😅.

First time on grass.

And Nosey again, doing what she does best 😂

A little recap of the adventure of trying to hatch some silkies...
The first five eggs I set were clear.
The next 13 were clear too, so I decided I need to try a different rooster than Steven. It was a halfhearted attempt because I didn't want to shuffle all the chickens around. The 3 eggs I put under Spices are also clear :barnie
To top it all off yesterday Sky escaped the silkie pen and got bred by the pesky also escaped Polish rooster :he
I want silkie babies not Polkie mutts 😭
Thinking of setting another incubator load, but I haven't put the girls with the other rooster in a while cause I was too busy...

Polkie mutts! 🤣🤣 but sorry about the eggs!
Today they're both saying they want to go broody too 😒 Ready to give up for now. I have put Ghost in with them but I left Steven in there and I don't know if he'll let him near them.
How's Hazel doing? Hasn't popped yet I guess?
No, but she is starting to show signs so I wouldn't be surprise if she kids sometime in the next 24-48hrs. One of my sister's goats looks like she'll be kidding today though.
